Tourism Taxes
Since January 2024, hosts in Hannover are required to collect an accommodation tax (Beherbergungssteuer) from guests. This tax must be declared to the authorities each calendar quarter, reporting the total taxable accommodation charges, including VAT, in accordance with the Accommodation Tax Statutes.
